About Grow Your Own
Doncaster is offering local community groups a £150 Grow Your Own pack from Pleveys Garden World. The scheme is designed to help communities transform local green spaces—such as gardens, embankments, watercourses and public areas—while also encouraging volunteering, social action and environmentally positive projects. Groups receiving a pack will contribute to wider goals, including:
reducing cost‑of‑living pressures
improving energy efficiency
tackling fuel poverty
supporting climate resilience
Who Can Apply
The Grow Your Own is aimed at local community groups.
Community groups can apply if they meet at least one of the following criteria:
Support the development or improvement of community green spaces
Provide opportunities for volunteering or social action
Contribute to reducing cost‑of‑living pressures
Promote energy efficiency or help combat fuel poverty
Deliver activity that supports climate change mitigation
When to Apply by
Applications must be submitted by Friday 13th March 2026. Each organisation can receive one pack, which will be collected using a reference number provided by Well Doncaster.
